The Mosquito® and the Copperhead™ share Slice Engineering's Bimetallic Heat Break™ technology, are both designed for high performance applications, and are beautifully designed and machined in America; but the similarities end there. The Copperhead™ is a traditional style hotend aimed at reducing heat creep and improving high temperature performance. It is the more budget conscious option. The Mosquito® has a radical design featuring a protective roll cage around the most thermally efficient heat break (85%!) available on the market. It allows for cold, one handed nozzle changes.
