The Centroform EZFORM LV 1827 V2 is a professional vacuum forming machine designed for prototyping, short-run production, mold making, packaging, signage, special effects, and a wide range of custom thermoforming applications. Its 18" x 27" forming area accommodates plastic sheets from approximately 21 1/4" x 30 1/4" up to 22" x 31", while the machine can form thermoplastic sheets up to 1/4" thick with a maximum draw depth of approximately 9–11 inches, depending on mold geometry and material. Centroform's EZFORM machines are individually manufactured in the USA and feature an all-stainless-steel welded construction designed for demanding forming applications.
What sets the EZFORM LV 1827 V2 apart is its dual adjustable built-in vacuum system, making the machine a true plug-and-play solution without requiring a separate shop vacuum or external vacuum pump. During forming, the vacuum motor initially removes the majority of the air, then a vacuum pump automatically takes over to remove remaining air and help achieve fine detail. The vacuum level and duration are adjustable, and an integrated vacuum gauge provides a visual reference during operation. A small internal chamber also helps the machine achieve faster suction.
The LV 1827 V2 uses two independently adjustable 1,500-watt heating elements for 3,000 watts of total heating power, engineered to provide uniform heat distribution across the forming area. Its welded and polished stainless-steel quick-load frame adjusts for different plastic thicknesses and moves quickly into position before the heated sheet begins to cool. The machine is compatible with a broad range of thermoformable materials, including styrene, acrylic/Plexiglas, PET-G, PVC, ABS, polyethylene, vinyl, polycarbonate/Lexan, and other formable plastics.
The EZFORM LV 1827 V2 operates on standard 110–120V single-phase power, with a 210–240V single-phase version also available. With its combination of a large 18" x 27" forming area, integrated dual-stage vacuum system, adjustable heating, stainless-steel construction, and ability to form plastics up to 1/4" thick, it provides a versatile solution for professional shops, fabrication environments, makerspaces, educators, product developers, and manufacturers looking to produce formed plastic parts in-house.

Which EZFORM LV 1827 Vacuum Forming Machine Is Right for the Application?
The EZFORM LV 1827 E, V2, and VX all provide an 18" x 27" forming area and 3,000 watts of adjustable heating power, but their vacuum configurations and machine sizes differ. The LV 1827 E is designed for users who already have a suitable external vacuum source and want to connect their own shop vacuum, vacuum pump, or other suction equipment. The LV 1827 V2 adds a dual adjustable built-in vacuum system in a more compact 75-lb chassis, making it a convenient plug-and-play option.
The EZFORM LV 1827 VX also includes Centroform's dual adjustable built-in vacuum system but uses a larger 110-lb chassis measuring 41" long by 24.5" wide. All three models can accommodate sheets up to approximately 22" x 31" and form plastics up to 1/4" thick. Choosing between them therefore comes down primarily to the desired vacuum configuration, available workspace, and machine size rather than forming-area capacity or heater power.
