Introducing the UltiMaker S7 3D Printer
The UltiMaker S7, the latest addition to the award-winning UltiMaker family of professional 3D printers, takes the 3D printing experience to the next level. Over 25,000 customers currently innovate with the UltiMaker S5 every day, making it one of the market's best-loved professional 3D printers. The UltiMaker S7 builds on this success by incorporating the latest technology, including an integrated Air Manager, a flexible PEI build plate, and autonomous bed leveling. This allows users to 3D print high-quality parts and models more easily and reliably than ever before.
Key features of the UltiMaker S7 include a smooth PEI-coated flexible build plate that allows for easy removal of parts with 25 magnets and 4 alignment pins. The integrated Air Manager on the UltiMaker S7 is independently tested to remove up to 95% of ultrafine particles from every print, providing peace of mind for air quality and boosting print quality thanks to its fully enclosed build chamber. Additionally, the UltiMaker S7 features a new inductive print head sensor that more accurately probes the build plate and automatic tilt compensation that removes the need for thumbscrew bed calibration. This allows users to start a print and walk away, confident in a perfect first layer.
The UltiMaker S7 also includes a 1080p camera that allows users to check on their print remotely via the UltiMaker Digital Factory. This camera is mounted higher to give a better view of the first layers, and a continuous video feed update is coming later in 2023. The UltiMaker S7 also adds 5 GHz Wi-Fi compatibility, which cuts through interference to improve network stability, resulting in a more reliable wireless signal. This is especially useful for companies that only allow connections via the 5 GHz band.
The UltiMaker S7 was designed with compatibility in mind, allowing users who own an UltiMaker S5 to use their entire digital library of S5 print files on the S7 without the need for reslicing and validating new files. Not only that, the material handling station previously reserved for the S5 is also compatible with the S7, making it a perfect drop-in replacement or upgrade. Installation of the S7 is also a breeze, taking only about 30 minutes from unboxing to power on, and the new digital unboxing guide makes it easy to start 3D printing high-quality parts and models right out of the box.
The UltiMaker S7's innovation doesn't stop there. Their teams are dedicated to delivering regular firmware and software improvements to ensure that the 3D printing experience is one of the best in the industry. New S7 updates are already planned, including faster, touchless build plate probing, continuous video monitoring, and metal 3D printing compatibility, ensuring that the UltiMaker S7 you use next year will be better than the S7 you buy today.
