Zortrax Cleaning Station
Zortrax Cleaning Station is a professional post-processing device designed to remove uncured resin from the surfaces of printed parts. The device uses an impeller-based system to clean 3D prints, which reduces the risk of damaging details.
- 300 x 210 x 270 mm workspace
- tank capacity 18 l
- two mechanical filters: polypropylene cartridge (1 micron) and stainless mesh cartridge with UV lighting (150 microns)
- excessive cleaning fluid level sensor
- flow meter preventing operation without the cleaning fluid in the system
Compatibility with all resin 3D printers
The Zortrax Cleaning Station performs well with models printed using all major resin 3D printing technologies like UV LCD, SLA, and DLP. The high volume tank can clean relatively large models. Moreover, the device offers full functionality with all resin 3D printers on the market.
Two supported cleaning agents
Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) is the most popular cleaning agent used in post-processing of resin 3D printed models and Zortrax Cleaning Station is designed to support it. The cleaning station is also compatible with glycol-based cleaning fluids in order to support two stage cleaning. The first stage is done using glycol-based agents and the second is done with standard IPA.
More efficient rotor cleaning
Zortrax Cleaning Station uses a rotor with adjustable speed to circulate cleaning fluid. This approach is more delicate and does not damage intricate parts, compared to ultrasonic cleaners. The cleaning process takes roughly 5 minutes and is fully automated. Once it is done, the top cover opens up and the models are lifted out of the tank for retrieval.
IPA filtering system
IPA cleaning fluid is circulated through a filtering system that collects the uncured resin. This way the IPA can be safely reused in multiple cleaning session. Lifespan of filters depends on the geometry and size of the cleaned models. It is recommended to check the filters' condition periodically and replace them when they are clogged.
