What is the Beambox Pro?
The FLUX Beambox Pro is the smartest desktop laser cutter & engraver made for your ideas. Equipped with the powerful CO2 laser, the Beambox Pro can cut and engrave on organic materials and even engrave on select metals. With its revolutionary design and intuitive user interface, you’re just steps away from the fun of making amazing things. -
What is the difference between the Beambox Compact and Beambox Pro?
The biggest difference is the laser. The Beambox Compact uses a 40-watt laser and can cut up to 10mm, while the Beambox Pro uses a 50-watt laser and cuts up to 12mm. The work area of the Beambox Pro is also 50% larger. -
Is the Beambox Pro difficult to set-up?
No! The Beambox Pro comes with everything you need to get started. Just pull your machine out of the box, plug it in, and run a couple of checks to make sure nothing wiggled out of alignment in shipping. You will be making things in no time! -
Is it hard to cut out fun designs?
Not at all. The Beambox Pro uses Beam Studio to control your laser cutter. It is compatible with all kinds of file types, such as JPG, PNG, SVG, DXF, AI and PDF. You can even drag photos into Beam Studio and cut them out almost instantly! -

What is the warranty?
FLUX provides a 12 month warranty for the Beambox Pro, and 3 month warranty for the laser tube. If you’ve encountered an issue, please contact our technical staff, and our staff will determine the suitable fix. Parts and tutorials will be provided if needed, shipping will be charged.

How much does shipping cost?
Ultimate 3D Printing Store pays for your shipping for all FLUX laser cutters. Free shipping usually takes 5-7 days to arrive. If you want expedited shipping, you can choose to upgrade your shipping at your own cost during checkout. -
Will there be customs and taxes?
Ultimate 3D Printing Store stocks FLUX laser cutters in our Florida-based warehouse. Therefore, you will not need to pay any customs or duties in your FLUX laser cutter. You may be charged sales tax depending on your shipping address.

What materials can Beambox cut and engrave?
The Beambox Pro can cut and engrave on wood, leather, cardboard, acrylic, rubber, foods and more, the maximum cutting thickness is 12mm (varies by materials). -
Is it possible to cut deeper than the maximum cutting thickness stated in the specs?
In fact, you can. The maximum cutting thickness stated in the specs are referred to a single cut with an average speed. If you slow down the speed or re-do the cut, you can cut deeper. For example, the maximum cutting thickness for acrylic is 5mm, you can cut 10mm or deeper if you slow down the speed or re-cut several times. -
Does the camera cover the complete work area?
Almost, the camera misses the upper margin by 1cm. Please see the specs for the dimensions. -
What safety precautions should I take?
The Beambox Pro is designed with various safety measures, such as smart lid detection and emergency power switch. Nevertheless, it is required that you never leave Beambox unattended while operating. -
Can the Beambox Pro cut metal?
The power levels are not enough to cut metal, but it can etch on anodized aluminum and stainless steel with the use of a specialized coating like Brilliance Laser Inks. -
How do I vent the machine?
The Beambox Pro is equipped with an air pump and a powerful exhaust. The air pump prevents the material from catching fire while the exhaust extracts smoke and fumes. Simply vent this directly outside with the included air hose. If you cannot vent directly outside, you can use a fume exctractor such as the Beam Air : The Universal Laser Cutter Fume Extractor -
What is the size of the work area?
The work area is 23.6" x 14.7" x 3.1" (60 x 37.5 x 8 cm) There’s a honeycomb structure tray for materials that are up to 3 cm (1.18") thick. The tray can be adjusted manually or removed to accommodate materials up to 8 cm (3.15") thick. -
Where should I put my Beambox Pro?
The laser creates smoke and fumes when operating, we advise you pick a well-ventilated location and use the included exhaust hose for outdoor venting or use the Beam Air to filter the exhaust. -
What maintenance procedures are there?
To ensure the quality of the laser engraving or cutting, you should check and clean the lenses and mirrors regularly. Usually once every week, but it depends on your usage and frequency. Lubricate the rails and check the water level of the cooling tank regularly. -
Are there any consumables?
For general usage, the laser tube lasts 6 months to 1 year, The lenses and mirrors lasts 1 year or more under regular maintenance. If replacement is necessary, you can refer to our tutorial to change the parts on your own.

Yes! It is totally free. You can download it or use the web version here. You can even play around with it before receiving your Beambox Pro. -
What file types does Beam Studio support?
Beam Studio is compatible with JPG, PNG, SVG, DXF, AI, & PDF files. You can even design inside of Beam Studio with drag and drop shape and text objects. -
What can I do with the touch panel?
You can start, pause and stop task, control, and monitor the status of your Beambox Pro all with a touch of the finger with the touch panel. -
Can the Beambox Pro operate independently?
If you import the files into Beam Studio first, the files will be uploaded to Beambox before starting the task, so you can disconnect your computer from your Beambox Pro at anytime. You can also import the files to your Beambox Pro directly using USB or choosing from the recent task list on the touch panel. -
How do I connect to my Beambox Pro with my computer?
You can connect to your Beambox Pro via Wi-Fi or Ethernet. -
