MetroX's Key Features

Metrological Blue Light Scanner
4 Scanning Modes, Limitless Possibilities
Cross Lines
Quickly capture flat, featureless areas on machinery and objects with shiny or black surfaces with no scanning spray needed at up to 800,000 points per second with MetroX’s 14 crossed blue laser lines.
Parallel Lines
Enhance the clarity of your 3D models by ensuring every fine detail, edge, and complex surface is accurately captured using the 7 high-powered parallel blue laser lines.
Auto Turntable Scanning
Fully automate the capture process and create metrology-grade models every time.
Click once, and the Dual-axis Turntable, Revo Scan, and MetroX work together to complete the scan.
Full-Field Blue Structured Light
Efficiently capture feature-rich and featureless objects at up to 7 million points per second using 62 powerful lines of structured blue light to create point clouds in seconds.
Metrologygrade Accuracy
Get metrology-grade modes with a precision of up to 0.01 mm, accuracy of up to 0.03 mm,
and volumetric accuracy of up to 0.03 mm + 0.1 mm × L(m)*.

Three Tracking Modes
Feature mode for detail-rich objects, Marker for featureless objects, and Global Marker for increased volumetric accuracy.

Setup Scans Faster
The MetroX Advanced Edition comes with a Marker Block Kit. This kit saves a ton of time by vastly reducing the number of markers needed when setting up laser scans or scanning featureless objects in Full-field mode. The markers are reusable and can be freely combined.

Easy to Control
Effortlessly control your scans, start/pause, adjust depth camera exposure, and digitally zoom on the fly using MetroX’s 4-button control system.
Vivid Color Scans
Capture
color-accurate scans for added realism in Auto Turntable mode using MetroX’s HD RGB camera for vivid color reproduction.

Revo Scan 5 MetroX: Powerful Scanning and Editing Software
Revo Scan 5 MetroX is a user-friendly free software that can do everything from point cloud creation to fusion, meshing, editing, merging, importing, and exporting.

Scan:
Easily adjust every scan setting from accuracy and exposure to scanning distance for optimal capture.

Process:
You can use the adjustable one-click editing mode to automatically process the scan or do it manually, with full options for keyframe editing, fusion, meshing, and texturing.

Edit:
Select and delete unwanted data, clean up overlapped and isolated data, smooth, simplify, and fill holes.

Merge:
Scan large or complex projects in sections, then combine the scanned data automatically or manually.

Export:
Export your scans in PLY, OBJ, STL, ASC, 3MF, GLTF, and FBX for compatibility with third-party post-processing software, like Quicksurface, Geomagic Wrap, or Geomagic Control. This enables efficient scan-to-CAD workflows or easy integration with quality inspection software.
Reverse Engineering
Whatever your workpiece, MetroX streamlines your reverse engineering processes with metrology-grade 3D models ready for scan-to-CAD processes.
Quality Control
With MetroX's high-quality 3D models, defects and deviations in the manufacturing process can be rapidly identified to ensure that even complex parts or products meet the design tolerance requirement.
Rapid Prototyping
Accelerate rapid prototyping by using MetroX to capture accurate dimensions of objects, ensuring the prototype meets design requirements, minimizes iterations, and saves time and resources.
