Bambu Lab PETG Basic Filament - Black
The all-new Bambu Lab PETG Basic has been upgraded to deliver PLA-level strength while maintaining its signature toughness. This makes it ideal for structural and functional parts that need to handle higher stress without becoming brittle.
With improved resistance to water, UV, and temperature, it remains an excellent choice for outdoor accessories, functional tools, and everyday-use models. The refined formulation also improves printability by reducing stringing and producing smoother surface finishes, so you get the benefits of PETG with fewer tradeoffs.
Known for impact and water resistance, high flexibility, strong layer adhesion, Bambu PETG Basic is ideal for printing tools (vises, tensioners, bag clips), toys (frisbees, boomerangs), water containers (bottles, watering cans), and outdoor items (planter pots, bottle cages) that require long-term exposure and withstanding impacts.
Less oozing, stringing and clumping
Improved with a modified formula, Bambu PETG Basic reduces clumping, oozing, and stringing issues during printing.

Printing Tips
-
Dry out before use for higher printing quality. If PETG Basic has been exposed to air with relative humidity above 50% for more than 72 hours, please dry it thoroughly according to the instructions before printing to ensure optimal print quality.
Property Value Drying conditions before printing Blast Drying Oven 65°C for 8 hours X1 Series & P Series & H2 Series Heatbed 80°C for 12 hours AMS 2 Pro & AMS HT 65°C for 8 hours Printing and storage humidity <20% RH (sealed with desiccant)
- PETG Basic adheres strongly to the PEI plate. After printing, please wait for the plate to cool down before removing the model to avoid damaging the bottom surface.
