The xTool P3 5W Infrared Laser Module expands the capabilities of the xTool P3 with a dedicated infrared laser designed for detailed engraving and scoring on a wider range of materials. With a maximum output power of 5W and a 0.03 mm red spot size, the module provides precise processing for applications where infrared laser technology offers advantages over the P3's standard CO₂ laser. The module is designed exclusively for the xTool P3 and draws power directly from the machine, eliminating the need for an additional power supply.

The 5W infrared module can engrave and score materials including stainless steel, anodized metal, gold, brass, leather, fabric, rubber, cement, and stone. It supports an expansive 650 × 426 mm processing area and can engrave at speeds up to 1,000 mm/s, making it well suited for personalized products, metal identification, promotional items, industrial marking, and other detailed engraving applications. The module does not support cutting and should not be used with mirror-finish metals due to the risk of laser reflection.

Installation is designed specifically for the xTool P3, with the module mounting to the machine's guide rail and connecting to the pre-installed laser module. After installation and calibration in xTool software, users can select the 5W infrared module as the processing laser. The infrared module can also be used alongside the P3's pre-installed laser module, giving users greater flexibility when choosing the right laser technology for different materials and applications
