 Introducing Kodak PVA Filament

Kodak PVA is a filament specifically created to use as a support material for hard-to-print objects. It is mainly used in conjunction with PLA, though it can be used with other materials, including nylons.

Benefits

Dissolvable in water, enabling you to print objects that would not otherwise be possible
Material is sensitive to moisture absorption, so it must be stored in and airtight container with desiccant
When using dual extrusion, reducing the temperature of the idle extruder will help to reduce leaking material
Recommended Print Settings
Print temperature: 180-205C
Print bed temperature: 50-60C (optional)
Cooling fans: On
Closed environment: Not required

Tolerance

+/- 0.02mm diameter
99% roundness accuracy
<0.02% moisture content

Physical Properties

Density: 1.27 g/cm3 (Test method: ISO 1183/B)
