Sturdy steel frame, new extruder technology and heated space
Robust 3D printer for industrial use

The X500 is the answer to the current demand on the market and, in addition to the large construction volume of 500 x 400 x 475 millimeters, offers further innovations which are central to the requirements of industrial use. With its steel frame and a total weight of approx. 170 kg, the machine offers an extremely high stability. A new extruder technology makes it possible to process future material developments precisely. The cooling circuit allows a stable process even at maximum room temperature.

Heated installation space
The heated pressure chamber (up to 80 ° C) and the high temperature hot end (up to 400 ° C) allow the processing of sophisticated technical filaments for the production of highly loadable components and functional models.

Auto Bed Leveling
The pressure bed is calibrated automatically via the Auto Bed Leveling. Unevenness
of the pressure bed is detected and adapted via a sensor system. The time-consuming
adjustment of the pressure bed is no longer necessary.

Simplify3D SoftwareIcon_Software
The included software Simplify 3D contains all necessary features to produce objects in industrial quality. Individual parameter settings, which can be adapted to the object geometry, allow full control over the printing process. The software allows the use of dual extruders, for printing different materials and colors as well as the multiple placement of different objects in the print space. Likewise, different areas of a single component can be defined and printed with different parameters.

Filament Feed Control
The movement of the filament is sensed by a sensor system and is synchronized live with the feed. This ensures a constant material discharge during the entire printing process. Pressure errors due to poor material conveying can thus be excluded.

Stand-alone printing
The 7-inch touch screen allows intuitive operation of the printer. This means that any print job can be started comfortably. Optionally, a network connection via Ethernet and WLAN with browser-based control and pressure monitoring via webcam is possible. The "Override Settings" allow an intervention in the print parameters during printing.

DD4 extruder technology
Due to the new precision measuring technology of the DD4 extruder temperature deviations can be circumvented from the start. The DD4 extruder allows a variable contact pressure for the filament and has pre-set settings for all GRR filaments. As a result, very brittle as well as very flexible materials can be processed without further knowledge. This enables the X500 to process future material developments precisely. The cooling circuit allows a stable process even at maximum room temperature.

Precision in continuous operation
The basic construction of the X500 is extremely stable thanks to the steel frame. The production takes place in Germany with high-quality industrial components. This makes the X500 a long-lasting device that meets the high demands of industrial continuous operation.
