The materials experts at BASF have developed an exciting new tough PLA in their Innofil3D line: PRO1 PLA. This engineering thermoplastic is excellent for printing tools, jigs and fixtures, as it boasts strengths above ABS, but which can be printed much faster--allowing you to print more in less time, all while maintaining the reliability you need.
PRO1 is a special PLA (Polylactic Acid) compound with increased mechanical properties (Tough PLA). PRO1 offers professionals a solution that enables them to make functional parts without the hassle of tinkering with settings. It is a fast, strong and impact resistant standard material suitable for all desktop FDM printers. It is a perfect material for prototyping and has been developed to withstand high stress or strain.
Weight: 750g
PRO1 offers major advantages above ABS and PLA:
Speed: Reduce your printing time by 30% - 80%.
Strength: Mechanical properties that are an improvement above ABS.
Versatility: Can be tuned to focus on speed, strength or a gorgeous surface finish.
Consistency: Will perform identically between colors and batches, every time.
