The xTool RA3 (Rotary Attachment 3) expands the capabilities of compatible xTool laser machines by making cylindrical, spherical, and ring-shaped objects available for rotary engraving. Designed for personalization, custom products, and batch production, the RA3 supports multiple processing modes and uses xTool's MagSwap™ design to make switching between rotary configurations fast and tool-free. With support for workpieces up to 130 mm in diameter in chuck mode, the RA3 provides a versatile solution for engraving tumblers, bottles, cups, vases, ornaments, rings, pens, and other curved objects.

The RA3 features four primary engraving configurations: chuck rotary, roller rotary, sphere rotary, and ring rotary. Its enlarged 130 mm chuck accommodates larger cylindrical workpieces, while the height-extension module provides additional clearance for larger-volume objects such as tumblers. Roller mode is designed for cylindrical objects such as pens and other slender workpieces, while the support and leveling components help maintain proper positioning during engraving.

xTool's MagSwap™ design uses magnetic mounting to simplify setup and allow users to quickly change between attachments and processing modes without traditional tool-based assembly. The RA3 also introduces one-step positioning for inner ring engraving, with a 26° angle adjustment designed to simplify engraving on the inside of rings and tapered objects. These features make the RA3 particularly useful for businesses and makers producing personalized jewelry, drinkware, promotional products, gifts, and other custom engraved items.

When paired with compatible xTool P Series machines, the RA3 adds intelligent automation features including automatic object diameter measurement, 3D modeling previews, and pre-processing visual previews. With the xTool P3's 360° LiDAR Mapping™, the rotary workflow can use measured workpiece information to help simplify setup and improve positioning before engraving. Automatic rotary mode recognition is also supported on compatible P Series machines. These automated functions are specific to supported P Series hardware and are not available on F Series machines because of their different sensing systems.

The xTool RA3 is also designed for businesses handling multiple custom orders. With the optional Roller Extension Kit and Chuck Kit, the system supports batch processing, allowing multiple compatible workpieces to be processed in an efficient workflow. xTool states that batch processing can reach speeds of up to 1,200 mm/s under supported conditions, making the RA3 well suited to personalized-product businesses looking to increase production efficiency.

The RA3 supports workpieces ranging from small rings to larger cylindrical objects. In chuck mode, the supported diameter range is 0–130 mm, while roller mode supports cylindrical objects across several roller configurations. Sphere mode supports objects from 25–100 mm, and ring mode supports rings from 11–70 mm. The RA3 itself measures approximately 324 × 187 × 148 mm and weighs approximately 2.26 kg.

The xTool RA3 is compatible with supported xTool P Series machines, including the P3, P2S, and P2, as well as several F Series laser machines. The RA3 can also be used with the xTool M2 when the appropriate M2 Adapter Kit is purchased. The RA3 is not the same accessory as the RA3 Lite, which is specifically designed for the xTool M2. Compatibility and available rotary functions vary by laser machine, so users should verify their specific xTool model before purchasing.
