Looking for an exact drop-in replacement for your early-generation Bambu Lab X1 or X1C toolhead electronics? This is the official, now-discontinued TH Board Set V9 (Single Red Laser version).
Because Bambu Lab has transitioned new inventory exclusively to the Dual Red Laser architecture, these legacy Single Red Laser V9 boards are incredibly rare and hard to find. If your original toolhead board failed and you want to swap it out without being forced to replace or upgrade your functioning Micro LDIAR sensor, this set is exactly what you need.
Important to know
There is no difference in printing functionality or performance between single and dual laser systems, but their electrical connections and toolhead board interfaces are entirely incompatible. If you try to mix a Single Laser Board with a Dual Laser LIDAR, the hardware will fail to communicate.
Installation:
Before ordering the TH board or micro lidar for X1C/X1, please determine their versions to avoid the wrong version, which results in compatibility issues.
- If the Micro Lidar SN starts with 00ExxB, it means that the lidar is a dual red version, and the TH board should also be a dual red version with a serial number SN starting with 003xxC, 003xxD, or 003xxY.
- If the Micro Lidar SN starts with 00ExxA, it means that the lidar is a single red version, and the TH board should also be a single red version with a serial number SN starting with 003xxA or 003xxB.
