BONDTECH DIRECT DRIVE SYSTEM

Bondtech Direct Drive System

This all-in-one solution is easy to install and ready to use. Bondtech’s DDS uses our unique Dual-Drive technology with an internal gear ratio of 3:1 and 415 steps per mm. Our DDS also uses an E3D’s V6 HotEnd that allows to easily print a wide range of filaments from the market with less stringing and clogging with printing temperatures up to 285°C.

Study and test was put on the design of the housing as well. Its geometry allows for effective cooling of the HotEnd by perfecting the placement of the Sunon 4010 axial fan and the orientation of the cool air flow. Along the cooling of the HotEnd, Bondtech also achieved a more effective part cooling by using a Sunon 5015 Radial Fan and a fan shroud that focus the air flow right to the tip of the nozzle. The filament sensor housing was also redesigned. You can now properly attach it to the CR-10S with a strong grip. The steel ball we placed below the lever on the filament path, lets you feed material in both directions, during loading and unloading. Much work was put on the power cables management and setup. Everything is ready to plug-in. No need to cut or solder. The old cables and components required to be removed, will remain intact and able to be reused.

MULTI-MATERIAL CAPABILITY

Bondtech Direct Drive System

Bondtech extruder feeds all material with high reliability, from slippery nylons and soft TPU/TPE filaments to highly rigid and sometimes brittle carbon-filled high-strength materials. The extruder is designed for 1.75 mm filaments but has been tested to ensure performance of filament from 1.5mm up to 2.0mm allowing for high reliability regardless of the tolerance of the filament used. The V6 All-Metal Hot-End from E3D allows users to reliably print high temperature materials (up to 285°C) and it gives extra functionality to work with soft and flexible filaments. This combination opens up a wide range of opportunities for your Creality3D CR-10S.

BONDTECH DUAL-DRIVE

Bondtech Dual Gear

Bondtech unique Dual-Drive technology delivers uninterrupted material flow without fear of grinding or slipping in even the most demanding conditions. Bondtech users allover the world will attest that even in prints with thousands of retracts our extruders perform flawlessly, with unmatched precision, and zero damage or degradation to the filament.

Whether you require high resolution prints with small nozzles or high-flow prints with big nozzles the optimized gearing ratio combined with our industry leading drive gears provides unparalleled pushing power and lightning fast retractions.

This Direct Drive System from Bondtech is a high-performance 1,75mm Direct Drive extruder and all-metal HotEnd for the Creality3D CR-10s.

Bondtech’s unique Dual-Drive technology in the BMG extruder, combined with a genuine E3D’s v6 HotEnd gives you a problem free material feeding and enables the use of a wider range of materials.

The housing parts are printed with PA12 (polyamide) for maximum strength and precision using industrial grade SLS technology.

Because we test ALL units before shipping this upgrade is supplied fully assembled thus ensuring all required parts are supplied.

Bondtech's Direct Drive System (DDS) for CR-10S is designed to give the user more options - different materials; higher flow and/or wider nozzles; thinner layers - and achieve a higher print quality. The DDS includes an integrated BMG (Bondtech Mini Geared) extruder featuring our unique Dual-Drive technology and an E3D's well known V6 All-Metal HotEnd. The DDS housing design provides an effective Hot-End cooling. With the 3:1 gearing ratio, high resolution prints with small nozzles or high flow prints with bigger nozzles can be used. For ease of use the system is ready to plug in once mounted on your printer. No extra cabling work and soldering is necessary.

The filament sensor holder has been reworked and is using a steel ball to allow the filament to pass the sensor in both directions.
