Bambu Lab PC (Polycarbonate) Filament - Transparent
Polycarbonate (PC) filament is a high-performance engineering thermoplastic made from polycarbonate resin, a material known for its exceptional strength, impact resistance, heat resistance, and dimensional stability. PC filament offers significantly greater toughness than standard materials such as PLA and PETG, while maintaining excellent rigidity and durability under demanding conditions. With heat deflection temperatures often exceeding 110°C, it is well-suited for functional parts exposed to elevated temperatures, mechanical stress, or outdoor environments. Common applications include manufacturing fixtures, jigs, tooling, machine components, automotive parts, protective housings, electrical enclosures, and end-use prototypes that require high strength and durability. Due to its demanding printing requirements, PC filament typically requires high nozzle temperatures, a heated build plate, and an enclosed printer to achieve optimal results.

Printing Tips
Due to the transparent properties of the filament, Lidar Extrusion Calibration can be affected when printing Transparent PC.
Bambu PC needs proper drying before printing, recommended drying temperature is 80 ℃ for 8 hours in a blast drying oven, or 100 ℃ for 12 hours on a printer's heatbed. For more details please refer to: Filament drying coveron WIKI.
